When you need a nap after lunch… Obviously you find the closest feet to use as a pillow!!
Bailey had one last outing before returning home. This guy was super nervous around people and would growl and lunge if someone got too close. So we gave him his final test by taking him to downtown St. Pete for lunch! Not only was he calm and relaxed but ready to fall asleep… even with all of the people passing by and our waitress coming to the table to check on us.
We advocate for all of our dogs who are nervous in these situations so they trust us no matter what is going on!
We are using our “do not pet” vest with Bailey. It helps to give him more space and allows for strangers to know running up and smushing his face is not okay! REMEMBER always ASK if it’s okay to pet a strangers dog… not every dog is okay with the invasion of their space!
