Hey everyone, my name is Jorge! Welcome to my human training blog. I know that sounds funny…isn’t it supposed to be DOG training!? Well, just remember it is a 50/50 relationship when it comes to training your best friends. So I am here as your insider with all of the information you have ever wanted to know about your dog.
Humans say they wish they knew what their dogs were thinking and feeling. Well, wonder no longer. I am here to help you better understand your dogs so that you can build a stronger bond and strengthen your relationship. In my blog you will be privy to all of the insider information you wish you knew about why your dog is acting a certain way or what they are feeling in particular situations and how you can help them!
I started this blog because I, like many dogs, found myself at the shelter at a very young age. I was adopted and returned 4 TIMES!!! I know, it was awful. Just when I thought I had my forever family, they brought me back. Many of those times it was because they didn’t understand me or my behavior. The first time I was brought to the shelter was because I was a puppy and my owner didn’t understand why I was chewing on things and making a mess all over the house. The next time I found myself with a really great elderly lady, but she couldn’t understand why I always wanted to play and bounce and pull on leash. The next time I found myself back at the shelter the people who adopted me thought I was aggressive toward their cats. Then, these nice people brought me home as a companion for their dog, but he didn’t like me so much and beat me up. FINALLY…my real mom found me. She knew me all along because she volunteered at the shelter I knew as my home for almost the first full year of my life. She actually understood me, it was like we were speaking the same language! Because my Parrish, Florida family and I are on the same page we can live life in harmony together!
